FlightVisibility:
The visibility forward from the cockpit of anaircraft in

Forecast:

Formation:
Twoormore aircraft flown in closeproximity to eachother
andoperating as a single aircraftwith regard tonavigation, position
reporting and control.

FullEmergency (InthecontextofAerodromeEmergency
Plans):
A situation inwhich the responseof all agencies involved in
theAerodromeEmergencyPlanwill be activated. A Full Emergency
will bedeclaredwhen an aircraft approaching the airport is knownor
suspected tobe in such trouble that there is danger of anaccident.
GlidePath (GP):
Adescent profiledetermined for vertical guidance
during afinal approach.
GlobalNavigationSatelliteSystem (GNSS):
A satellite-based
radionavigation system that uses signals fromorbiting satellites to
determinepreciseposition and time.
GlobalPositioningSystem (GPS):
AGNSS constellationoperated
by theUnitedStatesGovernment.
GrossWeight:
Theweight of theaircraft togetherwith theweight of
all persons andgoods (including fuel) onboard theaircraft at that
time.
GroundBasedNavigationAid:
meansNDB, VOR, DME.
GroundTaxiing:
Themovement of ahelicopter under its ownpower
andon its undercarriagewheels.
GroundVisibility:
The visibility at an aerodrome, as reportedbyan
accreditedobserver.
