METEOROLOGICALCONDITIONSOBSERVEDENROUTE (CAR247)

The pilot in command shall report, in the approved form and at such times

as requested by ameteorological observer, themeteorological conditions

observeden route.

When anymeteorological condition, hazardous to flight, is encountered en

route, the pilot in command shall report the condition as soon as possible,

giving such details as appear pertinent to the safety of other aircraft.

NAVIGATION LOGS (CAR 78)

Thepilot in commandof an aircraft shall keep a logof suchnavigational data

as is required to enable him or her to determine the geographical positionof

the aircraft at any timewhile the aircraft is inflight.

ACROBATIC FLIGHT (CAR155)

An aircraft:

• shall not be flown in acrobatic flight at night;

• shall not be flown in acrobatic flight except inVMC; and

• shall not be flown in acrobatic flight of a particular kind unless the

certificateof airworthiness of, or theflightmanual for, the aircraft specifies

that the aircraftmay perform that type of acrobatic flight.

For the purposes of the above, straight and steady stalls or turns inwhich

the angle of bank does not exceed 60 degrees shall be deemedNOT tobe

acrobatic flight.

Exceptwith the permission inwriting of CASA, a person shall not engage in

acrobatic flight in an aircraft:

• at a height lower than 3000 ft above thehighest point of the terrain,

or any obstacle thereon, within a radius of 600mof a lineextending

vertically below the aircraft; or

• over a city, town, populous area, regatta, racemeeting ormeeting for

public games or sports.

Beforeengaging in acrobatic flight, the pilot of an aircraft shall take such

action as is necessary to ensure that:

• any loose articles are removed from the aircraft ormade secure in the

aircraft;
