NOMINATIONOFRUNWAYS
ATCwill nominate the runway, preferred runway or take-off direction.Where
noise abatement procedures are prescribed, the provisions of DAPNAPwill
be applied. ATC shall not nominate a particular runway for use if an alternative
runway is available, when:
• for runways that are completely dry:
- the crosswind component, including gusts, exceeds 20 kt;
- the downwind component, including gusts, exceeds 5 kt.
• for runways that are not completely dry:
- the crosswind component, including gusts, exceeds 20 kt;
- there is a downwind component.
