InClassC control zones, on first contactwith departures control a pilotmust
report:
• the direction of turn;
• the initial heading;
• the altitudepassing, to nearest 100 ft; and
• the last assigned level.
DEPARTUREREPORT–CLASSDCONTROLZONES
InClassD control zones (where a procedural service is provided), thepilot of
an IFR flightmust report after take-off:
• departure time (if applicable);
• tracking information;
• the last assigned altitude; and
• the estimate for the first en route reportingpoint.
The departure timemust be calculated as follows:
• current timeminusanadjustment for thedistance from theaerodrome; or
• when over or abeam the aerodrome.
Tracking informationmust confirm the track establishedwith reference to the
appropriatenavigation aid or, if tracking via a SID, confirm theSID identifier.
