Clearances.

A pilot in commandmust not landunless the specific clearance

‘CLEAREDTO LAND’ ( or CLEAREDTOUCH andGOor CLEARED for the

OPTION) has been received.

Note: ATC approval must be obtained if asymmetric training is to be carried

outwithin 5 nm of a controlled aerodrome.

GoAround.

At ClassD aerodromeswith parallel runwayswhere contra-

rotating circuit operations are inprogress, if ATC instructs an aircraft togo

round, or amissed approach is initiated, thepilotmust:

• commence climb to circuit altitude;

• position the aircraft on the active side and parallel to thenominatedduty

runway, whilemaintaining separation from other aircraft; and

• followATC instructions or re-enter the circuit from upwind.

After Landing.

After landing, unless specified otherwisebyATC, an aircraft

must complywith the following:

• Promptly vacate the runwaywithout backtracking.

• Change from the Tower frequency to theGround frequency (where

established) when vacating the runway strip, andobtain anATC taxi

instruction.

• Not cross any runway that intersects the taxi routeunless in receipt of a

taxi instruction and a ‘CROSSRUNWAY (number)’ instruction fromATC.

• Taxi to the destination via themost direct taxiway(s) available.
