GENERAL
Whenever an accurateQNH is available and the aircraft is at a known
elevation, pilotsmust conduct an accuracy check of the aircraft’s altimeter at
some point prior to takeoff. In order of priority, the pilot shoulduse tarmac,
threshold or airfield referencepoint elevation for the check.
