Pilotsmay cancel aSARTIME via:

• telephone toCENSAR on 1800 814 931,

• Flight Serviceor ATCwhen telephone facilities are not available, or

• relay through another pilot.

SARTIMEs aremanaged on a national basis by the central SARTIME

management database, CENSAR.

The following table identifies flight notificationoptions for the various classes

and types of operationswhen flying IFR or VFR:

If advisingATSof achangeof aircraft ident and/or registration, pilot of SARTIME

flightsmust alsoadvise, prior to take-off, that theflight issubject toaSARTIME.

To assist inmanaging the airways system, pilots should alwayswarn

ATS of any flight notification amendments by utilising appropriate alerting

phraseologies: eg

‘MELBOURNECENTRE,DELTAMIKEGOLF, IFRFLIGHTPLANAMENDMENT’

‘FLIGHTWATCH, DELTAMIKEGOLF, SARTIMEFLIGHTPLANAMENDMENT’
