• any other details such as endorsements, renewal of ratings, completionof
tests and any othermatter directed byCASA.
The above requirements apply to holders of a all flight crew licences, special
pilot licences or certificates of validation.
It is an offence tomake a false ormisleading statement in your personal log
book.
Youmust retain your personal log book for as long as youhold a flight crew
licence (CAR 5.53).

CASAmay request you to produce your licence, logbook ormedical certificate
and if so, youmust produce itwithout delay. If youdo not have immediate
access to thedocument, youmust produce it at a placenominatedbyCASA
within7 days.
RESPONSIBILITYOFPILOT INCOMMANDBEFORE FLIGHT (CAR233)
An aircraft shall not commence a flight unless evidencehas been furnished to
the pilot in command and the pilot has taken such action as is necessary to
ensure that:
• the instruments and equipment required for the particular typeof
operation to be undertaken are installed in the aircraft and are functioning
properly;
• the grossweight of the aircraft does not exceed the limitations fixedby or
under CAR235 and is such that flight performance in accordancewith the
standards specified byCASA for the typeof operation tobeundertaken is
possible under the prevailing conditions;
• any directions of CASA for loading of the aircraft given under CAR 235
have been compliedwith;
