Hi There,

It might be a silly question but I would like someone to cross-check it and advise me.

Question No: 31, Page No: 364, RPL PPL Volume 2 (January 2023 version)

To maintain VMC when flying VFR in class G at an altitude of 4500 ft AMSL and at 1000 ft above terrain the minimum horizontal distance from cloud must be:

As per Book Correct answer: b - clear of cloud

But as per VFRG correct answer should be D, 1500 meter.

Hi Tia,

Check the VFRG for the distance from cloud in different Airspace categories.
