Carry of Logbook Required ? (PPL)

Hi Forum

Up to now I always had my logbook with me when I went flying, which is a bit annoying.
On checking up on CAR 139, I noticed it doesn't say anything about the logbook, just license
and medical.

So, was it just my flying school that made me have my logbook with me all the time ?

Is there something other than CAR 139 that relates to the carriage of documents ?

Thanks!

There is no requirement in Australia to carry your log book at any time.

If CASA want to look at your logbook they must give you 7 days to produce it as noted in CAR 5.56
