Hi

I'm just trying to understand the rule changes around biannual Flight reviews and, Test Flights and proficiency checks.

I have a PPL and my license says that a BFR is due in FEB but I did my IFR test flight (initial) around 7 months ago.

As I understand it, as the IFR test flight was with a CASA testing officer would mean that this also covered the BFR?
and I would need to do my IFR proficiency in 5 months and my next BFR in 17 months?

Is this correct or does a proficiency check also count as BFR?

(all SE Aeroplane)

Thanks!
