PPL - Multiple choice v Numeric answer

I note the CASA PPL exam previously comprised only multiple choice questions but going forward provision exists for questions which require the candidate to provide a numeric answer.

Just wondering if anyone has encountered questions where numeric answers are required or are all questions still multiple choice? If there are questions which require a numeric answer, what sort of tolerances exist?

Thank you!

Yes questions that require a number to be entered are now turning up in the CASA exam. As to the tolerances given I don't know for sure. But I guess they would have to within the limit of accuracy of charts such as BOD, EOD, centre of gravity and P Charts. The limit of accuracy of charts is usually taken to half of a main scale division.
