Hi Richard,

Yes, keeping those AIP references up to date is an absolute nightmare. We are re-thinking the approach to Air Law because of the continual shifting of references but for the moment it is possible some references will be moved without our knowledge. One thing to do as well is check the errata pages for the textbook here on the site. We often update discrepancies using an errata while we collect enough together for a new edition. The errata page for the BAK and PPL books can be found here:
BAK:
www.bobtait.com.au/updates-and-errata/6-...knowledge-bak-errata
PPL:
www.bobtait.com.au/updates-and-errata/25-ppl-errata

The links to the AIP and other AirServices documents can be found here:
www.airservicesaustralia.com/aip/aip.asp?pg=10

You will need to agree to a copyright disclaimer before accessing the material.

You are right, AIP ENR 1.1 47.5 doesn't exist any more. Ucontrolled aerodrome material is still found in that area though: AIP ENR 1.1 page 69 onwards (in the May 2014 AIP www.airservicesaustralia.com/aip/pending/aip/enroute.pdf ).

Cheers,

Rich
