Hbancroft created the topic: Casa performance question

How specific Will Casa be during the performance exam, example
Will they tell you if you can shift weight within the aircraft or do you assume when they ask to remove weight you cannot move within the aircraft to change the balane then remove a smaller amount?

Eg- The minimum amount of weight that must be removed from the rear compartment, to ensure that the aircraft remains in balance at all stages of flight. Answer removes weight completely

Eg2- The minimum number of parcels that must be removed from row 3 to ensure that the aircraft and maintain balance at all stages of flight. answer removed from aircraft

Eg3- The minimum number of packets that must be removed from the aeroplane to ensure that the centre of gravity remains within the limits at all stages of flight. Answer weight removed completely

Eg4- no change to existing load. The minimum amount of ballast fuel that must be carried in the main tanks to keep the aircraft balance throughout the flight question also states hard ballast is available in 5 kg sandbags

They are the four different ways we have been asked.

The examiner will tell you which compartments to use for shifting or adding or subtracting weight. He does not expect that you will use any other compartments at your own discretion. That would make the question impossible to mark because there are always many possible combinations of actions that would achieve a given result.
