Take off weight chart

Refer to take off weight chart Figure 3:

Run way08/26
TODA 900 M
surface- Long dry grass
Slooe level
Pressure height- 500 ft
wind 080/20 kts
Temperature- 25
What is the heaviest take off weight permitted under these conditions closest to?
a) 970 KG
b) 1080 KG
c) 1000 KG
d) 1030 KG

Sir can you cross check my graph n confirm what is the correct answer for me I'll go for 1080KG

One wonders why the question didn't give you the option of the MTOW ? A little pointless to offer less when the chart is conservative with respect to the entry arguments. For the answers offered yours is fine.

In general, it helps us know your thinking and approach if you post your completed chart.

thank you very much sir for clarification because my other friend did the same and said his answer was 1030 Kg..That is the main reason I have post this question for confirmation..

I think it would be a good idea for us to see your friend's solution so we might discuss wherever it may have been that he went a little off the rails in its working ?

Where do we start! I see two huge errors in the working that you have provided.

Error 1
The question says that PH = 500' and Temp = 25C
You entered the charts at PH=5000' and T=15 C

Error Two
You have not considered the TO climb weight limit in any way, shape or form - read the notes at the bottom of the chart. They are there for a reason!

If the aerodrome is high and hot your TOW will be climb limited.

.. methinks the markings on the scanned chart relate to a previous, unrelated question - one mistake, perhaps, but two ? ... hence my earlier comment. Once he confirms one way or the other, we can proceed to a conclusion.

Then you are climb-weight limited.

I get around 980 Kg - climb weight limited.
Closest answer is "A" at 970 kg
