Question 11..page 122 bobtait book..sir could you please explain further because I hardly work back wards to proof my answer if the time are the same.

300×135÷300=135nm

Time to ETP- normally it surpossed to be 135÷135=60mins

but at the back of book answers it says 135÷165=49 mins why it is 135÷165 and not 135÷135?
Got stuck on this question..

G'day Jukzizy

Because to calculate time TO ETP you have to use the ground speed out and you have a 15kt tailwind so the ground speed is 165kt
