Seats removed ECHO

Brownbear1 created the topic: Seats removed ECHO

Hi Bob, I am new to the forum.

I had four questions in regards to adding fuel as ballast, and three of the questions asked how much ballast required with seats removed. Do I have to individually calculate the weight and MI, or do I assume the Basic Empty Weight and MI alread have calculated adjusted for "seats being removed".

Much Appreciated.
Regards

The examiner will always make it clear whether or not the given empty weight and moment is with or without fuel. If nothing is said about the removal of seats, don't take the seats out. The question often says 'if no change is made to the existing load'.
