G'day Bob!!

How's life treating you? It's good to be back on the forum, it's been a while.

I have a question regarding finding the forward CG limit on a C182Q.

The Flight Manual states:
Forward limit:
- 1005 mm aft of the datum at 2950 lbs; and
- 839 mm aft of the datum at 2249 lbs.
- Linear variation applies between 2249 and 2950 lbs.

How do I establish a formula to establish the CG limit? I remember for the Echo it was (present weight - 2360) X.27 + 2400.

Thanks a lot, Bob!

Dan :) :)

If you apply the same reasoning as applies to the Echo's forward limit formula you would get.

Forward limit = Present Weight - 2249 x .237 + 839 .

Be careful that you are working in pounds, not Kilos.
