I completed the CPL met exam recently and got 78%. On my KDR's all my incorrect answers are related to TAF's and ARFOR's. For all of the ARFOR questions I selected the answer I thought correct that mentioned vis 10km or greater with reductions in showers and thunderstorms.
On following thought is it in fact incorrect to say that the vis is 10km or greater when the arfor does not state that?
If there is no reduction in visibility mentioned in the ARFOR then you can assume it is 10km or greater. Often the CASA exam includes an ARFOR and the TAF though, in which case you also need to refer to the TAF to see if it indicates a visibility of 10km or greater as well.
