Synoptic charts/Highs & Lows/Weather associated

Does anyone know of a good (read 'simple') resource to understand synoptic charts and the info the present. I know it's not heavily weighted in the met exam but once I think I understand one presentation, the next throws me for a loop.

Cheers

Gday,

The Bureau of Met are actually pretty good at giving simple explanations of weather related charts. Have a look at the following link which might help a bit!
