Hi Team.

Hope we are all well again.

Just got another query here about question 7 talking about flying to Cairns and then diverting to Cooktown. Just noting one thing here as it's an air transport flight. Looking at all the instrument approaches available there are only 2 GNSS approaches available in Cooktown and the aircraft within the question is only fitted with one GNSS.

Doesn't this mean that Cooktown should not be used as as alternate as according the Part 135 under the possible failure of an aid the aircraft would have nothing left to help it conduct a instrument approach.

Let me know if im wrong here team. Just a bit confused here.

Thank you

Thanks for your feedback. That question was written some time ago before the requirement for GNSS equipment was updated. somehow it missed being updated in the book. I have changed the wording of the question to indicate that the aircraft navigation equipment also includes 2 x 146 TSO GNSS receivers. Thanks again.
