A big thank you to Bob Tait and the team!

Just passed IREX yesterday first go with 80%, not too bad. For this one I used only BT's IREX book (which I read front to back twice) and BT's online practice exams. The only other help was this forum and the PPE forum

I studied for a month then took 3 months off to focus on CPL training. Then studied for another month part time while working.
I would say most of it is pretty straight forward so long as you know your way around the AIP, DAP's, ERC's & ERSA Etc. There are a few tricks here and there that no doubt caught me out.

In comparison to the CPL exams I would say fairly similar. It's like an Air law exam except a lot more information to know.
The hardest part about this exam was forcing myself to study for it as it's extremely dry.
