CAO 20.91?

bleve created the topic: CAO 20.91?

G'day,
I'm 18 days away from the IREX exam, and going through the PBN/GNSS section of the IREX textbook. It makes a lot of references to CAO 20.91, but that's not included in the IREX extracts. I understand you can't take extra bits, it's the extracts, or the whole CAO/CAR/Part 61 library (noooo!!!). Is there any need to take 20.91 into the exam?

Thank you,
Carl

You can take it all or a subset of your choice so long as it is bound. The extract is just a subset Bob has kindly put together but you can add to it no worries. The key is that it needs to be bound or in a folder.

Understood, as per the permitted material regs. There's some misinformation around suggesting no extra bits, but that's wrong.

My question is, do I need 20.91?

If you know the rnav, rnp and rvsm types and tolerances by heart then no.
