Do I need to do one takeoff and landing for NGT VFR If I hold Instrument rating?
Star Alliance created the topic: Do I need to do one takeoff and landing for NGT VFR If I hold Instrument rating?
Hi all,
Just a simple question which make me confused:
If I hold the instrument rating, and want to fly private NGT VFR (without passenger), do I still need to meet the requirement of "one takeoff and landing at night within 6 month" ?
Or the requirement is only for NGT VFR rating, not for instrument rating?

The recent experience requirement of having conducted at least 1 night take-off and at least 1 night landing within the previous 6 months, or been assessed as competent to conduct a flight at night by a flight instructor, pertains to Night VFR Ratings: CASR 61.965.
