Part 6, Set Two, Question 6

AshK created the topic: Part 6, Set Two, Question 6

Hi,

Regarding the answer for this question, the answer states a) as being correct as you have two independent aids for CHTR aircraft (TSO 129 GNSS and NDB). I thought d) would be a more appropriate answer as the TSO 129 can only be considered if RAIM is available, or does RAIM not have to be considered for alternate planning?

Can you please explain this?

Cheers

In an exam, it is accepted that RAIM will be available unless the question specifies otherwise. So if a question says nothing about RAIM warnings being current, it is safe to assume that RAIM will be available.
