Hey Guys!

I have a quick question regarding the Cooma NDB question in the book. It tells us that the RNAV/GNSS approach is not available due to RAIM prediction report. You then go on to say that a GNSS arrival would allow you to descend to the lowest level before crossing the aid. Even while this approach is not available. I was wondering how you got to this answer?

I have the newest update for the book, where DME is not standard in VH-OZY.

Thanks in Advance.

Thanks for the feed-back. You are correct, that example is not valid. You cannot fly a DME or GNSS arrival using a GNSS receiver for distance if you have a RAIM warning. When that example was first written, there was a DME in the aircraft but that is no longer the case. I have decided to scrap the example all together and have replaced it with a new one.

Thanks for spotting it.
