Hi Bob, Richard,

Can you please confirm if the following IREX practice questions are out of date?

Referencing GEN 1.5-5 (table 2.1), the minimum requirements for PVT IFR or Night VFR are 1xGNSS (129 or later) and 1xADF or VOR, OR 1xGNSS (145 or later).

And for CHTR Night VFR 1xGNSS (129 or later) AND 1 ADF or VOR, OR 2xGNSS (145 or later).

Table 2.2 summarises equipment required for a flight referenced to ground-based navigation aids, however Note 1 states that Para 2.2 does not relieve the aircraft from the requirements listed in para 2.1.

Some clarification would be great! Sitting the exam on Wednesday!!

Yes, IFR CHTR must have 1 GNSS plus an ADF or VOR
or
2 GNSS TSO 145 or better.
