HI,
i just want a know what requirement for choosing alternate aerodome .I know i can choose PAL . How about if the aerodrome is not PAL and it is LIRL no standby power. Like Coonamble(YCNM)? can i pick this aerodrome for my alternate ?

Assuming that the runway lights at the original destination have imposed the alternate requirement, the alternate you choose need not have standby lighting nor the responsible person normally required for PAL providing you have:
2 x VHF radios or
1 x VHF radio plus 1 x HF radio plus 30 minutes holding fuel. It is not uncommon for students to misinterpret this by assuming it applies to the destination. Note that it applies to the alternate you choose if the destination requires an alternate due to runway lighting.
