Sydney Traffic Holding Fuel Advisory?

AndrewM123 created the topic: Sydney Traffic Holding Fuel Advisory?

Hi all, I am using the June 2010 Bob Tait Irex book and Q27 of exercise ste 3.2 mentions '20 minutes traffic holding fuel'. I can't seem to find this reference inside the ERSA for Sydney. Has this changed and been removed?

Cheers!

G'day,

Take a look at the ERSA entry for Sydney under the REMARKS section (you'll find it on page FAC S-26 in the Aug 2011 edition). Anticipated airborne traffic delays of 20 minutes for all arriving aircraft are mentioned for our arrival time of 2230 UTC. We'll need to carry that 20 minutes on top of our normal reserves to cover the expected delays.

Cheers,

Rich
