jazz created the topic: GPS Arrival

Hi Sir Bob,

During my IREX exam, there is a question on MANGALORE GPS ARRIVAL. You are inbound from the southeast into Mangalore. If you would like to manoeurve to avoid some clouds, when would be the latest time you can induce such action?

a) 15nm
b) 5nm
c) 7nm
d) 2nm
e) 25nm

Just to clear my doubt,

1) is it correct that one should not alter its heading (diverting from its procedure conditions) after crossing the IAF?

2) In a DME/GPS Arrival, upon crossing the FAF, one should conduct visual circling to land?

3) What's the main difference between Visual Circling and Visual Approach?

Appreciate your kindness if you can spare your precious time to clear my doubts. Many many thanks.
