A Notification from CASA

Some candidates have taken documents into an exam venue which contained handwritten notes. Handwritten notes are NOT permitted. Candidates who bring material into the exam room with handwritten notes should anticipate that the Invigilator will require them to complete the exam without any document that includes those handwritten notes.

Highlighting or underlining is permitted, but not any notes – see page www.casa.gov.au/standard-page/permitted-material-under-part-61 of the CASA web site for details. Discovery of any handwritten notes after the exam has commenced may be deemed to be cheating. See Mandatory Instructions which are read out prior to the commencement of every PEXO exam session.
