in regard to TEM where does fatigue fit in ? i was told it was a latent threat then i see in some publications its a internal threat?

Fatigue is best classified as an internal threat. An internal threat is one that is part and parcel of the individual and the individual brings it with him/her to the workplace. Fatigue, stress and illness would all be classified as internal threats.

A latent threat is one that is not obvious and usually not identified until after the event. Like poorly worded or ambiguous descriptions in a manual, or poor placement of controls or switches in a cockpit.
