Hi I was wondering if this is mistake in Bob taits CFPA bookllet.

"If trip fuel is 35 gals, and the destination requires 60 min holding, find the mini
mum fuel required at start-up for an air transport flight in an Echo, if holding is at 35% MCP.
Answer: Min fuel
=
=
35 x 1.1+15 + 3 + 17.2
73.7 gal
EXERCISE 4.14 Answers on page 129"

It says it is 17.2 for 60 min holding, however according to the bob tait supplement at 35%MCP the use per usgallon per hour is 8.6 for best economy. So it should be 8.6 correct?

Thanks!
