Hey,
Are we required to know the old CAO 48.0 flight duty times for the CPL air law exams?
it doesnt seem to be part of the bob tait extracts for the law exam. none of my instructors seem to know
for sure either and the CASA website doesnt specify anything

cheers,
Ajay

I checked this point with the examiner recently. When any of the rules change, the exam changes and reflects the current rules. So, no, the old rules are defunct for the exam.

The 'old' CAO 48.0 is no longer examined and the 'new' CAO 48.1 instrument 2013 has been replaced with the current CAO 48.1 instrument 2019. We were caught a little by surprise by the introduction of CAO 48.1 2019 as it required a total rewrite of the associated questions in the book as well as in the exam preps. We will have the amended section of the book available for download from our web site by next week. It will also be posted in the errata.
