Cpl air law, dropping operations

While it totally makes sense that you need to be in continuous sight of the ground or water during dropping operations, I can't seem to find the reference in the CAO 29.5. or CAR 150. Came across this question & answer in Sample questions set 4 question 10.

All the other answers are wrong but ??

You'll find it in CAO 29.5.7.2 Dropping operations are to be conducted by day only under the VFR and with continuous reference to the ground or water.
