On Saturday 29th October, 2011 the online school was unavailable for several hours due to a technical problem with the server. We had so many students online at that time, the school server was unable to cope and decided to chuck it in and have a bit of a lie down. This should not have happened and we apologize for any inconvenience that the outage may have caused.

In response to this, I have organised a major upgrade to the resources available to the school server and this upgrade came into affect at midnight EST on the 31/10/2011.

The upgrade required a server restart and Bob Tait:Online is now running with four times the memory resources and three CPU cores which will give us good server performance at least until the next enrolment milestone.

If anyone was badly affected by the outages or by the server restart, please contact me by email.
