Fatigue rules - local time

Hi all
I'm battling through the questions on fatigue management on pages 35-49 of the Air Law study guide. Many of the questions specify the starting times of the duty periods using LMT. Is this correct? LMT is local mean solar time which depends on longitude. I thought that the fatigue rules are meant to operate on 'local time' defined as the standard time in the applicable time zone. Shouldn't it be LST for local standard time, rather than LMT ?
