Star Alliance created the topic: How to give way to glider in circuit?
Aircraft on downwind leg for landing and you notice a glider coming from left , you notice you are overtaking , what should you do?
A.Maintain heading preparing for collision if glider does not give way.
B.Alter heading to left
C.Alter heading to right
D.(can't remember )
I think we should give way to glider even we have already on circuit.
But how to give way to glider? Could some one help please?

Answer: "C" - Alter heading to right.
The longer answer is; it depends:
If you can pass well clear, then maintain heading
If a collision is imminent, make a right-hand orbit to rejoin downwind after the glider is clear.
Note: Heavier-than-air powered aircraft
always give way to gliders. The right-hand rule does not apply.
