linc90 created the topic: CASR in Exam?
Do we only bring part 61 into the exam often ? not the rest of the CASR ? often I see in the Bob Tait material often refer the the CASR such at part 67.D?
can we divide the pages on the CARs? with dividers on the contents pages of each section ?
My exam states ASL booking confirmations states the following:
Airservices List
• AIP Book
• AUS PCA
• Brisbane-Sunshine Coast/Gold Coast VTC
• CAO 20-95.2
• CAR 1988
• CASR Part 61
• ERC LOW 1/2 and 3/4 only (2 ERC Lows)
• ERSA Complete
• Hobart/Launceston VTC
• No other references or material permitted
So I would assume Part 61 only... perhaps someone else can clarify?
YEP. If it says CASR Part 61, that is what it means. You will need a shopping trolley to carry all of that into the exam room. Sadly, 95% of what's in those documents is irrelevant to the exam requirements. We have produced an extract of the CAOs, CARs and CASRs that you need for the exam and our full-time students have been using that instead of carting the full set of documents around.
Hi Bob I have just started Air Law today using your txt book it's great.(the text book that is not the Air Law)
So can the extract (mentioned above) you have produced be used in the exam instead of bringing all the copies with us and would it be possible to buy a copy of the extract you have made. Thanks
