"Old" CAO 48.1 vs "New" CAO 48.1 Instruments 2013

As I understand the section CAO 48.1 Instruments 2013 is the "new" 48.

So if I get a question in the exam asking for example:

What is the maximum hours you may fly in 365 day? One states 900 hours and the other 1000 hours.

Would the question in the exam tell you to look in Instruments 2013 or the old 48? And if not which one must one use?

Yes, the examiner will make it clear in the stem of the questions as to which version of CAO 48 your operator is using.
