Madox01 created the topic: SVFR in CLASS D

Hey Guys,

On page 2.49 Q.11 reads:

You have requested and been issued with a SVFR clearance at 4500ft in Class D airspace. To comply with the terms of this clearance in a fixed-wing aircraft, you must maintain a separation from cloud and visibility of-

a) 1000ft vertically and 1500m horizontally with 3000m visibility
b) clear of cloud with 1600m visibility
c) 1000ft vertically and 1500m horizontally with 5000m visibility
d) clear of cloud and 3000m visibility
e) clear of cloud and 800m visibility

The reference for this information is given as AIP ENR 1.2 para 1.2.2 (b) (1).

i believe that the correct answer is b, however the answer in the book is given as d. Just wondering if you could clarify this for me :)

Thank you in advance :)
