The Australian Aviation Theory Forum is a place for student pilots to ask questions, discuss CASA theory exams and share knowledge about RPL/PPL, CPL, IREX and recreational aviation study.
The workbook supplied by CASA is not the same as the suppliment . I understand that there are , in the suppliment paragraphs 2.1, 3.2, 3.1, 3.2 4.2 4.4 and 4.5 which will be provided by CASA in the exam. However if anyone has past experience without breaking any CASA regulations, is it the same data configuration as the CASA questions, or, is this workbook an illustrative example of the types of questions?
also doing these questions, I understand there are 40 questions in the exam. However some of the questions take some time to answer, does anyone have recent experience of the exam and the layout? Some of the questions take me a good 5 minutes to do and therefore that allows 30 questions in a 150 minute exam.
Some guidance would be useful and I really appreciate everyones help
