Hello all,
I found this question in PPL Vol 2, page 405, question 56.
It's asking for the range of the Devonport NDB during the day over sea.
There is no mention of this information in the AIP, or anywhere else I can find.
Other aerodromes have range information for their NDB.
Without an explicit answer in the AIP, I would guess that the maximum number in the list of possible answers (130 nm) is probably correct, as the question asks "...over the sea during the day.".
The 130 nm option is the correct one according to the book.
Am I approaching this correctly? Is the information somewhere else?
Thank you!
Peter
This information can be found under Radio Navigation and Landing Aids for the individual Airport as listed in the ERSA. This question has been updated to the BROOME NDB, as Airservices have decommissioned a lot of Navigation Aids.
Yes, after I submitted this question I found that the book errata shows a new aerodrome (Broome) for this question (here's the updates and errata page).
