I am just trying to understand the answer on page 246 and see what point I have missed.
I did the step to remove the fuel and add the additional passengers and checked the new ZFW.
When doing the calculation for the weight to shift, I added back in the fuel as it was loaded. The answer uses the new zero fuel weight as the present weight and moment.
Also In Review Question Set 1 there appears to be some errors in the answers to Q16 & Q27 worth checking. Apologies if I'm wrong.
Any help would be appreciated as always.

Thanks John for replying. I found my error….With the review question i got caught with working out the load with fuel back in which was inside the envelope so answered 0. At the revised ZFW it was an AFT problem which required the shift which is what the question asked. Thanks again
