I can't get my head around why it is - 8 in the total fuel amount. Please help

Hi Patrick,
Take care when looking at the different figures presented. We start with fuel in the tanks at "Start up", then as we allow for fuel that is burnt during engine start up and taxi to the Take off point, which leaves us with a fuel figure at "take off'. For the Echo aircraft, it is listed as 3 gallons or 8kg, which is the figure used to determine "Total Fuel at take off".

@waynej Ok I do understand the taxi burn off but there was a similar question that didn't remove the 8 gallon or liter. so, I got confused maybe I did not read question well... Thank you for answering 🙂
