There is not much information about VOR interception in the book, but many questions about intercepting. I also purchased online video assuming that it will cover the topic but did not had much information. Could you please suggest some text which can teach intercepting VOR type questions.

It really depends on the distance that you are from the station and how quickly you want or need to intercept the radial. It is probably best to intercept at an angle of less than 90 degrees, and wait for the CDI to move before adjusting your heading. The closer you are to the station, a shallower intercept angle would be better, provided that you have turned towards the desired radial.
