a temporary disturbance happens to an aeroplane and veers the air craft to the left. if the air craft has a strong directional static stability, what will happen after the disturbance has finished?

Static stability in any axis relates to the tendency of the aircraft to want to return to the previous undisturbed condition. In respect of directional stability, if a perturbation causes a yaw, then the aircraft will want to head back to the original direction if the stability is high.
