Hi there,
I have recently completed a PPL Practice test, and got this question incorrect. Unfortunately, the question does not come with a fully worked solution. After asking my flight instructor to review the answer, he too couldn't understand how to logically reach achieve the answer provided.
Please could someone tell me where I went wrong or explain how to get the correct answer.

You were right to be puzzled by the answer, unfortunately that question was not updated correctly when we changed our exam preps over to the GAF/GWPT. sometimes these things slip through, I have changed the question to be over Wagga at 10000 and amended the answers to be True rather than Magnetic so the right answer will be 030 T at 20kts.
