[i]hi guys, new to this forum so apologies if this has been asked before or is a silly question. On METAR reports in PPL book there is a 'RESHRA', I know the SHRA is showers/rain but what does RE stand for? Thanks[/i]

The RE prefix stands for recent as in RESHRA : Recent rain showers

Thanks mate, I thought so but I didn't want to assume RE is recent.
