Hello all,

I'm working on the sample exam question of the PPL book, Part 6.

Question 29 is about carrying a pet dog. The correct answer suggested in page 414 is b, that the dog must be placed in a container and carried in the cargo compartment. My answer was c, on my friend's lap.

I checked CASR MPS 91.620, but there is no mention of a container.

Could you please confirm "b" is indeed correct?

Thank you!

That question has fallen victim to the recent changes to the regulations. The current regulations simply say the following-

Carriage of Animals (Reg. 91.620)

An animal must not be carried onto an aircraft without the pilot’s permission.
Before granting permission to carry an animal, a pilot must take reasonable steps to ensure that the animal will not adversely affect the safety of air navigation.

Thanks for your feedback.
